WASABI
Every kid's story on one screen.
WASABI is a K-5 school analytics dashboard that pulls attendance, grades, and exams into one student profile, flags who's slipping, and answers plain questions through an AI assistant named Nori.
A teacher's read on a struggling kid was scattered across four systems that didn't talk. I wanted one screen where you type a name and the whole story is right there.
Real school data is messy, private, and never in the same format twice. The hard part wasn't the charts, it was turning years of inconsistent records into something a teacher trusts at a glance without a training manual.
I built every metric to roll up from one clean profile, so attendance, GPA, and exam trends all read off the same source of truth. Then I added Nori, an assistant you can just ask "who needs help?" instead of hunting through menus, and a flagging system that surfaces at-risk kids before anyone has to go looking.
It shipped and got used in real schools on real student data, and it's live now as a case study at wasabi.education, walkable in demo mode.
