WASABI is a K-5 school analytics dashboard that pulls attendance, grades, and exams into one student profile, flags who's slipping, and answers plain questions through an AI assistant named Nori.
Real school data is messy, private, and never in the same format twice. I used to teach, so I knew the actual test: can a teacher glance at this between classes and trust what it says, without a training manual? Years of inconsistent records had to become that trustworthy at a glance.
Every metric rolls up from one clean student profile, so attendance, GPA, and exam trends all read off the same source of truth instead of three exports that almost agree. Then I added Nori, an assistant you can just ask "who needs help?", and a flagging system that surfaces at-risk kids before anyone has to go looking for them.
It was used in a real educational environment, on real student data. It's live now at wasabi.education, walkable in demo mode.
